Gave us great local advice for dinner (across the side road) and breakfast (2nd cafe down) and kept our luggage in the store all day while we went out even though we were moving on later that day.

We chose it for the proximity to the airport, while still being in the city. They put on a very good breakfast with a wide choice of cereals, boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese, breads and buns and trays of hot food including bacon, eggs, sausage, beans etc. We got a very good recommendation for dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant called Baía do Peixe in the former bull fighting stadium from the front desk. The hotel was quiet.

The towels were changed mid stay. Lockers were available for us to leave a suitcase on the day we left so we didn't need to drag it around with us. The nearby Spacio shopping center has an excellent grocery store with takeaway (either for dinner or to carry food on the plane with you in the morning). Guest house is very close to the airport.
