We had a wonderful experience at the DH country House. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms decorated to the highest standards , but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is Susana. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The pool was more than welcome during the Alentejo's scorching sun.

The Quinta was wonderful. Great to share time with the dogs. Great facility, wonderful dinner with the family. Monique and Wim were great hosts and made us feel very comfortable.

Valeriana is a 5 min walk from my favorite restaurant. I stayed overnight so I could enjoy my dinner and wine and not need to drive home. The room was huge and bed comfortable. WiFi worked well. Although the street in front is very noisy, the double pane glass blocked the noise, so the room was quiet.

Just fun from the beginning. A “real Portugal” experience. Win and Monique are fabulous. Truly a laid back experience. Wonderful breakfast. Brought our wine from a wine tasting experience to the back terrace overlooking the aqueduct…quite exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Very special hotel. It is isolated and you really get to relax. Bring a book and sit by the pool. The place to de-stress. Dinner was delicious.

The hotel is excellently located. The room was spacious and clean. Although it was cold outside, the room was warm and cozy. The dinner was delicious, but it took a very long time to arrive (we waited more than an hour).

Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. They made dinner reservations, got us hooked up with a very interesting walking tour, were knowledgeable about the town and environs. The courtyard was very nice, a peaceful place to relax, and the breakfast was excellent. I went to the lounge and read one night...a perfect, comfy spot..

The staff was helpful, and the room quite large. The hotel itself was quiet and spacious. Make sure to visit the rooftop bar. The food was very good with local wine and the view of the aqueduct. A great place to watch the sun go down before going out to dinner.

The location was perfect- a short walk to the main square. The grounds and house were beautiful! Our room was well appointed- good lighting , comfortable bed, room for luggage. The dining room for breakfast was beautiful. The innkeeper was very helpful. Loved it !
