We had a wonderful experience at the DH country House. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms decorated to the highest standards , but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is Susana. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The pool was more than welcome during the Alentejo's scorching sun.

Although the street in front is very noisy, the double pane glass blocked the noise, so the room was quiet.

Make sure to visit the rooftop bar. The food was very good with local wine and the view of the aqueduct. A great place to watch the sun go down before going out to dinner.
