We had a wonderful experience at the DH country House. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms decorated to the highest standards , but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is Susana. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The pool was more than welcome during the Alentejo's scorching sun.

It’s also close enough to reach the city centre by foot. I had a very spacious and pretty room for myself. The room was clean and the staff at reception were helpful and friendly. What I liked the most was that there was a VERY generous dinner buffet spread for just €13.90. Suite was a duplex with an upstairs bedroom and downstairs living room. There was a closeted kitchen with sink, microwave, mini fridge and a set up for four. Went out to a little mercado down the street and bought instant coffee and milk because breakfast did not start until 7:30. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
