Wonderful view of banana fields, various plants. Very nice, sincere, helpful hosts. The hosts grow a lot of different fruit near the house. Everywhere is amazingly clean. Very friendly manager Andrew. Delicious breakfast in the hotel, which is near Village Pinnawala. This village house is a refreshment for the soul!! We recommend 100 percent!! We will come back soon.

If you want to see the elephants walking through the town, get a balcony room or just sit by the eating area. You also have access to the river area where the elephants bathe, without having to pay for the orphanage fee.

Shalika and her colleagues were beyond our expectations. She even upgraded our bedroom to a river view bedroom with an open balcony, which was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were excellent . Delicious food we all enjoyed with happy faces. We also enjoyed looking at elephants and their bath . My son was overwhelmed by seeing elephants in real life. The pool is open in the evening and we managed to swim after the road and go to a delicious dinner. The air conditioning worked perfectly in the room, there were no insects, there was tea/coffee. I love the treehouse in the garden 🪴 We took a tuktuk together and went to see some waterfalls (boella falls) And also to a herbal garden where you can buy some Ayurveda products. Restaurant was also nice with a view of the river where you can watch the elephants bathe at breakfast. Breakfast choice was good as was the dinner. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Swimming pool was warm not deep so perfect for us with the river view.

Breakfast was really good and the staff was so lovely and friendly. Especially Andrew (that’s how we called him) from the tour desk was such a lovely helpful guy!
