Set in Galway and within 400 metres of Ladies Beach, Black Cat features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The property is around 700 metres from Grattan Beach, 2.4 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and 2.7 km from Eyre Square. Galway Greyhound Stadium is 4 km away and Ballymagibbon Cairn is 40 km from the inn.

This place was very lovely and comfortable. It is 15-20 minutes far from the Galway city center so you can walk down even if the weather is not rainy. There is also bus from the center and you can reach in 10 minutes from city center. There are nice restaurants and Salthill beach around this place. You can walk around and enjoy the view or even swim in Atlantic. Even if my room was little small, it was very clean and I was happy. The bathroom was also very clean and big enough. There were clean towels also. There were free coffee and tea whenever you want. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay and I can recommend this place to my friends.

Restaurant staff were lovely , dinner was beautiful and breakfast was only OK. After a complaint was made I received a call from the deputy manager at time. She was lovely and understanding and apologised. Told us she would look after us if we returned, however recently I made an enquiry about booking again , a deputy manager was supposed to call me back (not the same person) and I never received a call.

Fifteen minute walk to city center. Nice large room (but watch out for low ceiling!). Nice breakfast and I was able to use the house ironing board. Walk to Cava Bodega for great dinner.

It exceeded expectations. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and went overboard to make you feel confortable. Room, bathroom and common areas were great and spotless clean. You could borrow towels, hair dryer, band-aids, etc., which was really convenient. Breakfast was amazing, and I would also recommend singing up for the common dinner and pub crawl, I had a blast!

We just loved this beautiful stone cottage! Absolutely spotless, beautiful, comfortable and quiet. A perfect location and an exceptional Host!! Ronnie is a “Winner!” He was so helpful in every way, from recommending wonderful restaurants to literally offering to drive us into the city to relieve the stress of us driving ourselves and finding a place to park. He really goes above and beyond what anyone would expect from a host. We would definitely return to this lovely location, Thank you Ronnie, We miss being there already

i loved the location, it was a bot far out of town , but the beach walk made up for the remote location. Dinner was an issue as were were unaware that the restaurants around the location closed at 8 pm, and we had arrived around 30 minutes before closing and could not get any food, so we had to settle for fast food.

Ballycurrin House is an incredible place to stay, close to the lake, with big bedrooms and vintage living room and dinner room. We were quite welcomed. We hope to come back as soon as possible.

The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. I slept well during our stay. Also, the location is very quiet. The hotel also offers dinner and drinks menu if you are too lazy to go eat out. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Galway. Plus, the staffs are very nice and helpful 🤩
