It's a very short walk to the cost where there are some nice places to eat (we ate at "The Coast Inn" for breakfast which both the food and staff were lovely). The Salt Lodges hosts were lovely too, let code, parking and directions were clear from the off, the welcome was personalised and the WiFi was easy to set up :) would 100% come back again and recommend to friends in future.JackYoung couple

Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and comfy living area with balcony! We were close to The Coast Inn which was a lovely spot and also had a meal at The Company Shed which specialised in seafood. A great base for walking the coastline.

The location is amazing just a short walk from the coast road and we had a delicious dinner at The Coast Inn and lunch at The Mersea Oyster Company. The suite was beautifully designed and styled giving a feeling of luxury and comfort. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be going back. The taxi services declined to take us , as they judged the distance to be too short ( it was one mile ) . We walked the distance on our way out . All 3 of us are in our 70's , so we were dreading the walk back , especially as it was cold . Glory be , we managed to stop a bus !!MolleGroup
