Excellent, location, great food and drink and welcoming staff. Ideal place to sit with a cider in the sun next to the river Dart. A short walk will take you to the river ferry that takes you into Dartmouth for the day. We are going back in July.

Such a cosy welcoming place - charming staff, comfortable stylish rooms and really excellent food. Old world charm just up the road from Totnes, one of my favourite towns. Delicious breakfast too!

Loved it . Rooms very clean. Staff and landlord were both very friendly. beer excellent and do we’re the prices. Rights in the centre of Totnes. Great place to stay . Breakfast very good price and was excellent . I would recommend this place .

Not busy that day so there was lots of parking and room in the restaurant. Lovely dinner and fantastic breakfast. Enormous bedroom with views of the creek, very quaint and very comfortable.

This was despite me showing them our booking.com confirmations, recent emails etc, and the fact that I had rung the day before to book a table for dinner. Breakfast was ok but other than the cooked breakfast there wasn’t much choice with the other bits like milk, cereal, yogurt etc it may have been because I was the only guest eating breakfast. The cooked breakfast’s there was lots of choice and the full cooked English breakfast was beautiful and very hot and would definitely have it again if I stayed again.PPennySolo traveller

We liked having access to the beautiful gardens and the view over the courtyard. The breakfast offered a good choice and was hot and tasty.
