    This little pub totally blew me away. I booked as was in area for work at 5 pm on booking .com.was cheaper than premier inns and other hotels. Food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious.I had pie mash and vegetables and was thoroughly amazing food. Sticky toffee pudding was fantastic too. The room was very comfortable, very comfortable mattress and a nespresso machine. Boiling hot power shower and lovely views from my window. Will definitely be coming back and bringing my wife next time.

    The rooms are very nice with a little seating area, real fire and underfloor heating - I was impressed. Set in a lovely rural area next to a village, we will come back to explore in summer. Breakfast and dinner were very food quality.

    The Carpenters Arms is a well appointed, comfortable property at a beautiful location in an often overlooked area. We were in a room in the Inn, rather than the Courtyard but it was comfortable and clean - only lacking air conditioning - who'd have thought you'd need aircon in Yorkshire, but it was a heatwave! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, dinner was excellent and the breakfast was too.
