The Chequers Inn, inn sa Smarden

The Chequers is a 14th-century coaching inn located in the picturesque Kent village of Smarden. Bedrooms feature exposed wooden beams and the candlelit restaurant serves fine British cuisine.

The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The meals were superb.
