Left very early (6:30) to continue my LeJOG cycle but staff facilitated a breakfast for me. Enjoyed being there for Curry Night. (Wednesday)

Thorverton Arms features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Exeter. Located around 36 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, the inn with free WiFi is also 15 km away from Tiverton Castle. The property is non-smoking and is set 17 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium.

I LOVE this pub/hotel. I have to travel to various cities for work and I am so glad I found this spot! Very safe and welcoming and the beds are SPOTLESS! I’ve travelled to Exeter twice for work and stayed here both times. Slightly outside the centre about 10 mins by car but worth it. Amazing priced rooms, so clean , spotless bed sheets. They provide water bottles, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the rooms which all have beautiful decor bits such as homely mugs and pillows. 100% would come back again and again!! There’s a guy local in the village that only charges £10 to take you in and out of the centre too. Lovely chap !

Situated in Cullompton, 26 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, The Butterleigh Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The property is around 7.8 km from Tiverton Castle, 37 km from Powderham Castle and 48 km from Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Excellent host and really friendly and welcoming local customers. Very comfortable and clean room. Plenty of easy parking right up to room entrance way. The food is excellent. This is our second stay, and we will be back next year god willing. Visiting from our home in Florida we stay at many Hotels and B&B's during our time in the UK, I have to say without doubt the full English Breakfast at the Butterleigh In is the best I have ever eaten, best ingredients perfectly cooked.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

We stayed for the night on the way back from a longer trip. The bar has, I think, been redecorated since our last visit and looked clean and fresh. The bedroom was big and comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. My only regret is that we got stuck in traffic on the way down and didn't make it in time for dinner.

It's an Inn... it was busy but friendly. Food was good and fairly quick. The room was spotless and warm, and had the usual tea and coffee facilities. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was a bit far from the room but that's an observation not a complaint. Parking was a bit of a concern , typical tiny village streets. I managed to find a place in the square so not too far away. Again just an observation.

Great place to stay. Very clean, friendly staff, good food, ales, ciders, good breakfast, great location in the centre of the village with easy access to the main shops in the village. Plenty of parking available with a public free parking nearby (if needed) but no direct parking owned by the Inn. Good quality/price ratio. The wifi signal and power could be improved. Good room service.
