Dinner was the best we've had in a year - since the last time we dined at the Black Horse! Nice ales, well kept, and a good gin selection. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, remarkably little traffic noise. Friendly staff, customers and dogs!

Dinner - excellent. Staff - very friendly. Spa/gym - excellent. Bath in room - excellent (so many hotels have taken them out) and water nice and hot.

Fantastic lodge, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was excellent. The hotel restaurant was excellent so much so we dinned there every night of our stay and so many different dishes on offer.

Convenient for our needs. Bonus to use excellent onsite friendly leisure facility. Bed was comfy. We ate dinner on first occasion which was good, not available when we requested second occasion. If kitchen closed light snacks would be good.
