Extraordinary place with extremely helpful & kind staff. Rooms and bar are decorated with attention to the details. The area is so quiet & the bed was so comfy that I slept really well. The breakfast was so delicious. I didn’t expect to have such delicious food in the bar so my only regret was I didn’t try an evening meal. I have a reason to get back there!

The location, close to the city centre with reasonably priced parking across the street. The pub is a nice place to be with a wide range of local ales, other drinks and food. Breakfast is perfect. The room itself was nice and cosy, clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again!

The room was amazing. Absolutely original in style and very comfortable and clean. Easy access from the street... and very secure with state of the art locks! Management let me in at 12.30 even though the official time is 1pm. They were very friendly.

The pub is amazing, the food was incredible, we had dinner and breakfast. The people were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are modern and decor lovely and the Chocolate Port in your room is a special touch. There’s nothing we didn’t like about the Duke William and we will be back.

Team, rooms, pub and location are all outstanding. Ickham is a lovely village and the perfect starting point for excursions towards the coast or Canterbury. The team is very kind and happy to accommodate special dietary needs (gluten-free diet). There's nothing better than coming back to the lively pub for dinner after a day out discovering Kent and the beautiful rooms feel like home. We will be back for sure - the sooner the better!

The staff were friendly and definitely went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The kids loved the playground and it was relaxing to sit in the garden with a drink. We had booked dinner here also and had some drinks in the lovely beer garden first looking out onto the fields (beautiful view). The dinner/ food was excellent and they had a fab drinks choice. Complimentary grind coffee and teas in the room as well as water. Can’t fault our stay- will be back and suggesting to friends.
