The staff gave a warm welcome, the interior design was very high-end and the place is just full of quality. I had a great night's sleep, the quality of both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Top class stay.

The housekeeping and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The location was lovely and the riverside setting is pretty. The food at breakfast and dinner was lovely. There was a welcome treat for the dog in the room, with a bed, bowl and poo bags, which was nice. As it was my husband's birthday, they had written a card and token in the room. This would be a good hotel as a base for exploring the surrounding area. It is a nice walk through the village to the falls of dochart, at the other end of the high street.

We liked the setting of the lodge with views of the surrounding hills. We very much appreciated the hosts, who spent time telling us about the area, their experience and recommendations, and certainly Robbie's excellent cooking, both breakfast and dinner. We had a nice hike directly from the house as well as from Killin, which was also had good places to eat.

Almost 500 year old building with very intresting atmosphere and nice surrounding. We stayed one night on our way from Skye to Edinburgh. It was a plus that you just stop next to the road and park your car with Option of dinner and breakfast. Bar inside the hotel. The room was very clean.
