The property is steeped in history and atmosphere adding to its charm. Set facing the village green and pretty church the view was idyllic. The staff were exceptionly friendly and helpful. Lovely 4 poster bed and clean/crisp linen. Generous accommodation including a separate toilet. A lot of character including sloping floors, period furniture, heavy curtains and comfortable chairs. Staff very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Food excellent, generous well cooked breakfast. Parking free and plentiful outside the inn.
