The Fox is a 15th-century inn, around 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bury St Edmunds. It offers a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation alongside its popular restaurant and bar with pretty terrace beer garden.

Room was spacious and charming. Loved the included breakfast & variety. Friendly helpful staff, esp. Paul. Shower and heated mirror were nice. Location was great, across from Abbey Garden, short walk to shops, restaurants, farmer's market, Cathedral.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, stayed one night, had dinner and breakfast also, which were delicious. Also particularly liked that it was very quiet overnight and the next morning. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and a very comfortable room.

Excellent location for town centre, and particularly the Apex Theatre, where we were going to for a concert. The artists used the same inn. Good place for a drink, as it is also a Greene King pub. Good choice and quality of breakfast.
