My husband and adult son enjoyed a wonderful evening and morning in the company of Mercedes and her family. She gave us a tour of her beautiful vegetable and flower garden (with the help of our guide who translated) and prepared a delicious simple dinner. We slept comfortably with the farm noises nudging us awake early the next day to enjoy the eggs and pancake breakfast. We will be talking about this one night for a long time. For me, I love the fact that it is set in gardens that are extensive, well cared for, Innovative in places and make me feel very good. Staying overnight in a suite was especially nice as the rooms are beautifully decorated, even with artwork from the owner, spacious with a delightful separate sitting area and a huge bathroom. All was very elegant and extremely relaxing. If one is looking for something very special in Ecuador, La Mirage maybe your place.LindaEcuador
