I have done a lot of motorcycle trips this summer and stayed in various places. By far this has been the best. If I could have given it higher marking I would have. Yes it’s not a new building but that’s the charm of it. And you couldn’t ask for a better host. The friendliest person you will ever meet. I am already trying to figure out what days to book for next year.

Owner always available and trying very hard to update the hotel. Comfy bed. Older hotel rooms on the small side but good sized bathroom, just what you would expect. Good place to stop for a night. Also left my iPad behind and the owner tracked me down and called right away, much appreciated!

I was asked if I wanted to order something. Within about 15-20 minutes, I had my dinner, which was yummy. The staff was friendly. Walk out into the back with a sitting area. Fridge and microwave. Owners working on continuous improvements. A fun and considerate thing, the rooms offer a towel to use to dry off the motorcycles, and I get that it is self-preservation, but it is an inventive and kind thing to do. My only hope is that visiters would be considerate enough to use them instead of the bathroom towels. Thank you, Pinewood Inn!

We stayed at the pinewood Inn the night before and were not impressed, so we booked the Ash Grove Inn the next night, and it was so much nicer! The room was very inviting and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. The restaurant had really good food and the staff were awesome. The location of the hotel is very convenient being a walking distance away from the heart of this beautiful little town of Berry's Bay. The free WiFi is also very helpful and overall it is a very charming place. I would definitely recommend Balmoral Hotel to anyone looking for a cosy stay in this rustic but very charming place.AleksandraFamily with young children
