This newly renovated exceptional house is in the heart of the village and is the home of a well known Interior design family. Leigh originally opened this home as a guest house in 1993, it ran successfully till 2010. She then closed it to devote more time to her interior business that she runs with her daughter Danela. The two houses were then split and turned into private homes. Leigh has only now opened up again as an exclusive B & B for the months of Feb/March and Oct/ Nov only. Attention to detail and privacy are paramount in this home.

Leigh has 3 children, Danela, Kyle and Bianca and 4 beautiful grandchildren. They are a family who love to cook together, as is evident in the large gourmet kitchen leading to an additional indoor barbeque area with second lounge leading directly to the pool and garden. She love gardening and has a super well stocked herb and veggie garden. The family have been fortunate to travel and often visit some of their old guest who have become good family friends.

As a family when in residence, we love the fact that this home is within really easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The Marine tidal pool is a super early morning walk with the children to play in the rock pools or to have a dip before strolling back to the house for breakfast. (tables laid and ready by the hand house assistant Steven) Kyle and his girls love the long beach after Stanford and the dunes. The whole family visit both Grotto Beach and nannies beach for a refreshing swim in the sea. The Hemel and Aarde Valley are a firm favourite with this valley, with the lovely restaurants and wineries. Kyle paddles on his stand up board on the lagood, and surfs in the ocean just off the cliff paths close to the house. Neill is the golfer in the family and often comes with groups of his golfing friends to enjoy the 27 hole golf course.
