This 3-bedroom plus den and bonus room/2.5-bath home is 2,500 square feet and will sleep up to 10 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the living room and dining room. The dining table will comfortably seat eight. The spacious living room is open and has plenty of light with a gas log fireplace and a 50-inch smart TV, DVD, premium cable, plus wireless internet. There is a den adjacent to the entry foyer with a queen size futon bed and a stereo with a CD player. The bedrooms are all on the 2nd floor. The master bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 42-inch smart TV, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom at the end of the hall has a queen bed, walk-in closet, flat panel TV, ceiling fan and southern views. This guest room has access to the full bath off the hallway. The third bedroom is opposite the master, has a Queen bed, a flat panel TV, and shares the full bath in the hall. There is a bonus room open to the stairway (no door) which has two twin sleeper sofas and a flat panel TV. Elkhorn is located in the hills about a mile south of Sun Valley Village and two miles from the town of Ketchum. If you are looking for amenities, this area offers a good selection. Guests have access to an array of amenities; swimming pools, hot tubs, a fitness center and tennis courts, all free of charge. Sunburst Condos are a favorite recommendation. Elkhorn guests also enjoy preferential tee times at the golf course. The Elkhorn Golf Course was designed by the famous father-son duo Robert Trent Jones Senior and Robert Trent Jones Junior. Your golfing abilities will be tested on this course, complete with rolling greens and over 100 sand traps and bunkers. Also, enjoying the sweeping views of the Elkhorn hillsides and the Sun Valley White Clouds golf course that surround the area. Hiking and biking are very popular activities among guests. Spring and early summer offer expansive views of the surrounding areas, and the ability to view the different wildflowers in the area. In the late summer and fall, enjoy the fall foliage.
