The Duff Green Mansion was built in 1856 by Duff Green for his bride, Mary Lake Green. The home was built as a mansion for the most idyllic of lives. Duff and Mary only lived in the home for 7 years when the region was ravaged by war. Duff saved his home by turning it into a hospital for both Union and Confederate soldiers. The historic home is now a luxury boutique hotel featuring 9 updated rooms with ensuite baths, beautifully appointed common areas for you to gather with your large group or just the two of you.
