My Husband and myself have always loved older homes, they have such stories to tell about what they have seen. This Victorian house is a beautiful reminder of when people took pride in what they built not just for functionality but also beauty. We love being able to share this amazing home and sharing its long and diverse history.

Property info

This house was built in 1878 and is the oldest standing home in Pittsburg. It has almost a mile of Curley Pine, thru out the home. The Curley Pine was found and milled by Mr. Carson who worked for a lumber company. He then added almost a mile of it to the home. He also had Interest in a short railway line that went from Texas to Mexico and had a interest in a Circus , which the The Train Car Airbnb pays tribute to. Whether you are here for business,  romance or just a well-deserved getaway The Carson House awaits your next visit.

This cozy bed-and-breakfast is a 5-minute walk from downtown Pittsburg. Enjoy our downtown Antiques shops, Ice Cream Parlor and Cafes, There is also Rustville’s Soap Shop you can't miss a chance to try their Soaps. We are 5 min walk from The Anvil Brewery. We are a 10 drive from Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards. 25 Mins From Lake Bob Sandlin 15 mins from Mt, Pleasant  45 mins from Longview 1 hr. from Tyler 1.5 hr. from Shreveport, La 2 hrs. from Dallas
