I got my Airbnb start in San Antonio where I first started using Airbnb to rent out my downtown riverwalk apartment. Now Claire and I are living the dream here in Newport, RI and we can't wait to share it with you. Keypad entry allows for contactless check-in and check-out. Claire and I used to make every effort to welcome guests in person. Now, we ask guests in advance if they would prefer to meet us, or not. We live about one mile away. Guests are welcome to reach out with questions about the Newport area. We know that people like to come to Newport to have fun (it's part of why we love Newport). This is a house for large groups. It is not a house for loud late night parties. Summer traffic in Newport can be the worst. Uber and Lyft are recommended for evenings out downtown. Once you're downtown, don't forget that a pedicab is usually a great option to get around that area. Make sure to carry cash because they operate on tips only.
