I spend a lot of time at the Marietta Square dining and browsing. I also attend plays and concerts. From April to December, there is a free concert once a month on the Square. Almost every month, there is a special event--art and craft show, antique market, Taste-of-Marietta food sampling, 4th of July parade and fireworks (visible from the Stanley House), fall festival, and even an ice-skating rink in December.

Local attractions include the Gone with the Wind Museum and Civil War history sites, including Kennesaw Mountain, Cheatham Hill, and the National and Confederate cemetaries. We are 20 minutes from the tourist attractions of downtown Atlanta.
