This lovely Craftsman-style vacation home on Orcas Island is a little piece of paradise located in a peaceful, quiet community. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts design movement of the early 20th century, the interior is open and warm, with hardwood floors, stained glass accents, and exposed woodwork. A pleasing spot both inside and out, up to six guests will greatly enjoy a stay at the aptly named Whispering Pines Retreat. The main floor is a bright and light filled open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen with ten-foot-high ceilings. The living room includes large windows and Mission-style wood furniture with comfortable cushions, colorful throw rugs, and a beautifully tiled gas fireplace. Pick a cozy spot to settle in, choose a book or game from the many shelves, and relax. There is a stereo with an iPod dock, a smart TV with Roku streaming channels, and a DVD player, so you'll have no shortage of entertainment for those cold, stormy days. Free WiFi is available in case you need to check work emails, research possible island excursions, or find a new salmon recipe for dinner.
