This is an owner-occupied setting—a century-old home with lots of antique appointments, jazz memorabilia, and colonial architecture. Very quiet. There is no staff on duty, so please do not expect concierge services such as (early) luggage drop off or luggage keep. Coffee or tea is not available but we sometimes offer bottled water. Please, no work from home, disturbing Zoom calls, or on-line teaching. Remove outdoor shoes while indoors. "Sleep, Shower and Go" highly preferred. Accommodations are older but spartan, sanitized and comfortable (note Reviews). If you are looking for a modern facility, this place is NOT for you. But.. if you appreciate Savannah nostalgia, rustic charm, AND can handle a few "rough edges" here and there, look no further.

Hi. I'm Darrell. I am a teacher, writer, and traveler. I am a one-person hosting operation which means I clean the house DAILY by myself. It takes most of my time and power. The neighborhood: Marginal. Urban. Rapid development. Highly visible. Reasonably safe. Police headquarters is half-block away. From this location you can walk to the center of downtown in about 30 min. Forsyth Park is only 15 min. Tybee Island is 30 drive. Convenient FREE PARKING in front of or beside the house. Pay attention to street cleaning days. Signs are posted.
