TOURISTS or BUSINESS TRAVELERS preferred. NO LOCALS (within 50 mile radius) or one night hook-ups. No under 22 years of age. This is an owner-occupied setting—a century-old home with lots of antique appointments, jazz memorabilia, and colonial architecture. Very quiet. No work from home, disturbing Zoom calls, or on-line teaching. "Sleep, Shower and Go" highly preferred. Look for a white corner house nestled on the main boulevard just 10-minute walk to Forsyth Park. Accommodations are older but spartan, sanitized and comfortable (note Reviews). Improvements are ongoing. If you are looking for a modern facility, this place is NOT for you. But.. if you appreciate Savannah nostalgia, rustic charm, AND can handle a few "rough edges" here and there, look no further.

The neighborhood: Marginal. Urban. Rapid development. Highly visible. Reasonably safe. Police headquarters is half-block away. From this location you can walk to the center of downtown in about 30 min. Forsyth Park is only 15 min. Tybee Island is 30 drive. Convenient FREE PARKING in front of or beside the house. Pay attention to street cleaning days. Signs are posted.
