I've stayed at Manu multiple times over the past year, since I've been using Istanbul as a base to fly in and out of. I've been here during high and low season, in summer and in winter, and it's always great. It's clean and tidy and feels very homey- so special after many long months/years on the road. Also, I've found that #1- it's very easy to meet people, since everyone tends to congregate in the same places, and #2- you get a great mix of folks here- not just your standard Western European/North American backpackers. I've met plenty of South Americans, Central Asians, Azerbaijanis, South East Asians, etc. There is more diversity here than I've seen in other hostels, and Manu is all the better for it. My home in Istanbul, and where I'll always stay here!

I had trouble with transport in Istanbul so I had to check in so late but the owner was wonderfully helpful and understanding. The hostel itself is so clean and lovely. Would highly recommend.

As a digital nomad, this hostel offered me a good structure to work, while also allowing me to have fun with guests from all over the world. The hostel has a new and beautiful structure, everything works perfectly, it is clean, comfortable and safe. I will forever remember my stay and experience here. I recommend it to everyone.

My room was big with plenty of space, making it a very comfortable stay. Clean shower/toilets, large communal area. Friendly staff as well. The location is far from the main attractions/European side but it is convenient to travel there as the hostel is just 5mins away from the metro. I dont mind the distance as it was so much better than the other hostel I stayed at in the Taksim area.
