Sunny Heaven Apartment is located in the town of Izola, in a quiet and safe neighborhood five minutes walking from the beach. It is bright, spacious and well equipped with all amenities that make life comfortable. It is higly recommended for families with children. It consists of a dining room, a kitchen and two big bedrooms. The kitchen is provided with all utensils and gadgets needed to make cooking easy and fun. A large dining room with a sofa bed for two persons and a big led TV set leads to a shady terrace. The dining room is spacious enough for the whole family to have meals, spend evenings together and play games with children. There are two comfortable bedrooms. One looks on the garden, the other on a quiet street. The first is furnished with a double bed, the other with two single beds; a children's folding bed is available. Bathroom and toilet are set apart. A fully equipped barbecue place is situated in the garden and can be used at pleasure. A green wall of vegetation that surrounds it provides privacy and soothing freshness after a hot summer day. Free parking is available in front of the house. Restaurants, bars and stores are nearby.

My name is Vida and I live in Izola in a family house with a garden and a cat. I am married, have two sons and two granddauhters, but the young ones live elswhere. I am a retired jurnalist. I worked for the Slovenian national TV, the regional TV station, after that I experienced the newspaper reporter's life, inbetween I spent a short period as an editor of the magazin for the Slovenians abroad. Shortly, I've been working with people all my professional career. That is, probably, the reason why I decided, after may retirement, to use my experiences also in the field of tourism. My decision to redecorate part of our house and make it a confortable tourist accomodation was greatly backupped by my husband Jadran, my son Matej and my daughter in law Sabina. The leading idea in our engagement was to make every single guest as happy as possible during his stay in our place and in our town. As locals we can make them enjoy the surroundings and taste at least a bit of our genuin lives.

Izola is a nice and pleasant Mediterranean town with a fishing history. Originally it was built on an island, which is still implied in its name: Izola, in Italian, means island. The place was important already for the ancient Romans. There are remains of a villa rustica Haliaetum near the biggest beach of the town testifying the noble and respectful past of our town. Izola's historical center, ten minutes walking from the Sunny Heaven Apartment, is the place of frequent entertainment and cultural events. You can taste the Mediterranean atmosphere walking through the town and resting in small coffee shops on your way, while the evenings can be spent in good company with locals on any of numerous small town square. You can taste daily fresh fish dishes, renowned local wine and first class olive oil, all genuin local products. Izola is most requested resort lately due to its beautiful beaches, a large marina and a net of recreational areas and cykling routs. It lies between Koper and Piran, both Mediterranean historical towns, 30 km from Lipica with its proud Lipizzan horses and 40 km from the Škocjan Caves, part of the Unesco heritage.
