Fani&Rozi stands out with its unique location on the Drava promenade in the heart of medieval Maribor. Along the riverbank in front of it is a promenade that is perfect for walking, running, cycling or sunbathing. It is not only the location that makes B&B Fani&Rozi unique, but also the history of this former family building. Fani was the name of our great grandmother who once owned a small shop where the raftsmen could buy food, cigarettes, matches and even nails and socks. Rozi was our beloved grandmother known for her hospitality. The design of the rooms is authentic. Each unit has its own character based on exciting and rich traditions of the place. A sun terrace is part of a café garden (temporary closed due to reconstruction of the Drava riverbank) where you can enjoy refreshing drinks&local wines or enjoy the river with its swans, ducks and river gulls. Special emphasis is placed on the local breakfast. This newly renovated property welcomes guests since July 2020.

Fani&Rozi B&B is located in the medieval heart of Maribor. The World's Oldest Vine, more than 450 year old Guinness record holder, is only 200m away and it is the only vine plant with its own museum Old Vine House. Nearby you can also visit a former Jewish quarter. The riverbank in front of it is the promenade of the city and is perfect for walking, running, cycling, sunbathing or simply for relaxing with a drink or meal in one of the many restaurants and cafés nearby. Parking is available in the garage just around the corner under the main Market place. The nearest grocery store is 150m away, the center of Maribor with its Gothic Cathedral, Slovene National Theater&Opera and Renaissance City Hall is in at walking distance of 500m. A local bus stop is 250m and the main Railway station is 2 km away. The nearest fitness center and Olympic indoor swimming pool you can find in the range of 350m, the local Spa 2,2km. The Pohorje mountain with ski resorts is 6,4 km away. You can reach our beautiful park in only 7 minutes.
