Lindsbergs course center and youth hostel is a charming big stone house built in 1905 that is surrounded by nature. Situated 8 km north of Falun, a stay here is a perfect getaway where guests can enjoy the space to work on a creative project, relax, or start an adventure in beautiful Dalarna. Whether you want to stroll in the nearby forest or by the shore of Varpan, visit the world heritage at the old mine in Falun or the museum home of the famous painter Carl Larsson in Sundborn, Lindsberg is the place to stay. During winter there are possibilities to go alpine skiing at Bjursås ski center and Romme Alpin or cross country at Lugnet Skicenter. Free WiFi is provided. There are shared bathrooms located in every corridor. All meals are vegetarian, and a vegetarian/vegan buffet breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. The guests are requested to not cook any meat or fish. The property is around 8 km from Falun Mine, 7 km from Lugnet Sports Centre and 11 km from Knappliften.

We are a group of people (Collective) with different skills living at the property, taking care of the place and make the place available to people/groups who play a vital role in today's world. We live in a family environment and run the place according to 3 guideline words- Solidarity, Self-reliance and Resource Preservation. Kursgården Lindsberg has been an importan part ot the Swedish environmental movement ever since the 70-80th. Being a meeting place for climate activist, artist, musician, cultivating enthusiasts. Our ambition is that all guest at Lindsberg should feel welcome and at home. We work all the time to improve the property and raise the standard and comfort. A warm welcome to everyone!

If you book well in advance, it might be possible to order breakfast or dinner. Don’t forget to inform us of any allergies. The food served is vegetarian or vegan.
