Staying in Carpe Diem means experiencing affordable luxury cottage living in our beautiful Kavarö/Torrön area only 10 mins drive to picturesque Öregrund by the Baltic Sea. Öregrund is known for its Boat Week (Roslags Race -27/07 till 3/08/2024) Carpe Diem Cottage has been entirely renovated in 2019 and is perfect for a couple but can also sleep comfortably a family of four. It has a large bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchenette and large bathroom. An easy stroll of 150m leads you to the sea, several little beaches, jetties, bridges and picnic areas. We are happy to provide you with a picnic trolley, basket & blankets. You are also welcome to make use of the bikes free of charge. Paddle board and canoe can be rented. Carpe Diem Cottage has its own large private furnished sun deck/patio with built in BBQ but upon request one can make use of the common covered BBQ area with kitchenette. For SEK 250 includes bathrobes and wood logs, guests get to experience an amazing and unique Swedish Sauna (upon request). Only available for staying guests max 4 persons.

Öregrund by the archipelago is only a 10 mins drive by car but guests are welcome to use free of charge our bikes to discover the beautiful surroundings. Öregrund is one of the country’s most well preserved wooden cities and the only city on the Swedish east coast where the sun sets over the ocean. You can enjoy strolls in its small streets open-air restaurants and cafés. In summertime you can enjoy the Roslag race during boat week. 10 mins drive, direction Östhammar for the golf lovers, you will find Öregrunds Golf club with Restaurant & little store.
