The Rooftop Suites is a penthouse turned B&B with balconies facing the stunning views of the Douro River and its surroundings. Newly renovated, all bedrooms features a modern decoration, air-conditioning, central heating, free Wi-Fi, flat screen cable TV and enjoy private bathrooms. Our shared lounge is the cozy space where not only tea and coffee making equipment is available but also sitting area, library and wine-fridge. Breakfast is flexible as it is provided on a bakery on the ground floor. On your arrival, plenty of free parking space is available in the nearby streets where you have access to a range of useful shops and services. The riverside with its jogging track is just 5 minutes away. Wine tasting and vineyard tours are available in a nearby property, 6kms from the Suites, in our vineyard estate.

Heading south across the river, Lamego is 13kms away with its medieval castle, cathedral and baroque sanctuary. Vila Real lies to the north, 20 kms away, where Casa de Mateus and its majestic Gardens make up an excellent visit. Serra do Marão Mountain or S. Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint are perfect for those seeking hiking and nature.
