Located in Leomil´s mountain, 1300 m far from the first houses of the village that gives it its name. Has Moimenta da Beira at a distance of 3 km, the villages of Armamar, Tabuaço, Sernancelhe, Penedono and the city of Tarouca at a distance all of them hanging around the 18 km, 26 km from Lamego and 59 km from Viseu. It has the Douro river at a distance of a 25-minute journey and the Vilar´s Dam a 10 minutes journey. Completely safe and a quiet place, having as neighbors some donkeys, horses, rabbits, hares, wild boars and foxes in lucky days to get sight. On site there are some family´s dogs and cats, which are the delight of the little ones. Can be visited throughout the summer to several popular feasts with traditional music and Traditional Portuguese food as well as various economic activities fairs from the municipality and neighbors.
