TVs Every TV has its own dedicated MEO Android box, giving customers a choice of over 200 channels including in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Arabic. Plus access to Pay-to-View services such as films, sport, adult etc. The TV's are also ready for you to easily sign in to Netflix using your own account login. Parking As is common in the historic town centers of Portugal, parking directly in front of the building is not possible. There is a short stay space 20m past the building where you can unload. There are multiple locations for longer term parking within a few minutes walk, please see the map provided in our photographs. Conditions- At the time of booking you will be given a contact number (WhatsApp) and should you encounter any problem, we have several local staff available. Please info us straight away of any problems, malfunctions or breakages. The building is equipped with CCTV for safety and protection. Disabled access. The front bedroom of our ground floor apartment, has been designed to be extra spacious to help those with a wheelchair, prams or lots of luggage. Please note however that cobbled streets and hills of the old town are not the easiest for wheelchairs or those who find walking difficult.

The Mira D'Ouro Apartments are set in the ancient, one-way cobbled streets, of the Historic District of Serta. On top of the hill close to the Castle, the Clube da Serta and the Miradouro (the viewpoint square, where they used to flog criminals). The Mira D'Ouro is one of the oldest buildings in the town and once housed Serta's first bakery. It was called the Pastelaria D'Ouro and we have reused their logo from 1940. The building was sympathetically refurbished in 2024 to create four luxury, self catering, apartments for visitors to Serta. Each apartment has a terrace with a wonderful view from the distant hills down to the River Serta and the towns river beach / public swimming pool. On arrival we have an easy to use, multi-lingual Self Checking In Machine which recognise your booking and will program your room key card. Please have your passport or ID Card ready. Please note, we do not have a lift and you will need to carry your own bags to your apartment. Once in your apartment you will find a complimentary snack of bread and local cheese, with a small bottle of Sertanais extra virgin olive oil, handmade by the apartment's owner. In the room you will find a guide to the local area and its attractions. All bedrooms lock with their own key. The Mira D'Ouro Wine Experience. In each apartment we present a selection of 12 bottles of the finest regional red, white and green wines for your enjoyment. We have hand picked these wines to display the excellent Portuguese wines from this region and beyond, please note however, that sadly these bottles are not free. You will find our very reasonable price list, with more information about each of the wines and its vineyard in the Guest Folder. You will also find details for booking winery tours.
