William is the best host! Welcomed us with wine and portuguese snacks, was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. He takes time to also get to know the guests and his home is literally at the centre of Lisbon. We had such a lovely, comfortable stay!

Rent a whole House, ideal for large family gatherings or for a group of friends (Farewells/Alumnis/Team-building/couples). Located in a 13th century Street, on the Hill between Castelo and Baixa (São Cristóvão neighbourhood), there are 3Metro stations, 2Supermarkets, 1 carpark and an immense number of Cafés, Restaurants, all within 3 Minutes walking distance. This very lively street combines the neighbourhood's tradition, the multiculturalism of tourism and a very interesting gastronomic offer. It’s housed on a recently and completely renovated building (almost centenary) with wooden body and finishes. Fully equipped with domestic appliances, elegantly furnished and finely decorated it has all the modern comforts for a great stay (iTV, cable Wi-Fi, most electrical appliances, heaters/Air- conditioning, etc.). With a very spacious total area of 175sq mts, the building consists of three separate apartments, two studios (first and second) and a duplex Loft at the top (the 3rd, with an open-space living room and a large bedroom on the water floor attic), has 7luminous double windows for silence and rest or so you can watch the world go round and the life of the neighbourhood. So there are 2bedrooms, 2living rooms, 1common space (bed/studio living room on the 2nd), 3bathrooms/WC (with 3showers each on each level/apartment), 2kitchens (complete on the 3rd and basic on the 2nd plus a kitchenette on the 1st), finally a set of stairs connects all the apartments to the main door (children can play here) where there is furniture so that they can be at the door to socialise. It is ideal for large groups who want to stay in the same place (but not in a hotel) without having to rent several different apartments, prefer a very central, lively, but at the same time typical and genuinely portuguese place to to stay. Hello, I´m from Tomar, used to live in London, and based in Lisbon. I rent my own apartment (I do the Check-ins) for best practice & tailor-made host experience. As my reviews testify I follow with conviction my Moto: I treat my guests as I treat my own friends when they visit Lisbon. This rental is also a chance to live in a Bairro (Quarter) and it's close-knit community for some days & understand how we live here 4 centuries Breed on a teaching family, Degree in International relations, and was a Bank's UK rep and Councillor/Deputy Mayor in London, but I came back to develop this lusitan host existence, I thrive to make you happy @ Lisbon. My motto is: My guests are treated like when my own friends are coming to visit me in Lisbon/Portugal. Be very welcome! :-) During your stay I personally manage all the operations and always do an in-person Check-in. Also, my local friend Angela and Lisa, who assist me on preparations can provide all the assistance needed for your comfy stay. I'll give suggestions on where to go and what to visit locally, the best spots to eat, out-of-Lisbon travels, and other kinds of advice to help you plan a great holiday. Made some nice Guides (take a look) and also commit a couple of hours to helping research a group's preferred activity if this is required. Late Check-in and early bird arrivals (Depending on previous guests) are possible, I always try to optimize my Group's check-outs/check-ins to enhance and prolong as possible your stay. We can keep the bags on the last day if your flight is at the end of that day and possibly to keep one of the studios as an afternoon group's last day base (depending of feasibility). If guests are fond of me, I´m happy to socialize a bit, have a drink with guests and provide any good advice with a nice and empathic conversation. I TREAT MY GUEST EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS I TREAT MY OWN PERSONAL FRIENDS WHEN THEY'RE ALSO COMING TO VISIT ME AND LISBON. HOSPITALITY IS A DOMINANT PORTUGUESE DNA-GENE!
This's now one of the most trendiest, feel-good, busy with daily life and an happy harmonious cohabitation between locals and tourist, place in central Lisbon area between Downtown and the historical Quarter, the Posh-Mouraria. Boho-chick adopted street where literally everybody from all over the world meets (& the locals too, should warn of some night noise. The Neighbourhood (Bairro) is called São Cristóvão, you can say it's the closest "popular" Street to our Country's Centre (Rossio). Uniquely lively during all times (until midnight) with locals on their day to day duties, during the afternoon warms up with tourists crossing-by and restauration buzz. So here you can find the true genuine and traditional street but also diverse, multicultural and touristic friendly environment, with the commodity to be superbly located. This Street has 8 centuries-old pathway format, the houses are usually secular ones. You'll find real Alfacinhas (Lisbon folks) who always lived here. You can breathe Fado mood and Santos Populares (Popular & Traditional June's holy party). With the same serpentine configuration (the Beautiful Church was the Mosque then), with traditional Villas (Death-ends, cull-de-sac, mews) stretching along it as ribs from the spine. There's also 3 fantastic squares of Trigueiros (Esplanade), Achada (Medieval shape & Culture H), da Rosa (Great views), many stairs sets take you to the Down-town/Baixa or to the Castle (in a maze of adjacent streets) after all this is the most know of the 7 hills of Lisbon. It´s by itself a great touristic hot-spot & also a great thing to have all kinds of shops/eateries and other lively commerce. Just a stone throw from the City centre, Castle or the River, You really are in the most central (Popular area) of Lisbon, close to everything, a few minutes walk from what the city has to offer: SOUTH- RIVERSIDE | W- BAIXA/CITYCENTRE | N- MARTIM MONIZ | E- CASTLE/ALFAMA São Cristóvão (Neighbour), Sta. Maria Mayor (Ward), Mouraria (area)
