We love to invite you to come and discover our little beautiful part of the Portuguese countryside. A unique place, surrounded by nature. A unique villa of modern design. A wonderful natural pool., the water feels like silk on your skin. All rooms are on the ground floor, directly accessible from the outside. They all have en suite bathrooms and share a kitchenette. There is an outside kitchen and BBQ place available for you. Next to it is our vegetable garden, contained in special horta's. where you'll find our vegetables, herbs, some fruit and flowers. When it gets really warm, you are invited in the stylish lounge under the house, where you'll catch a little breeze in the afternoon. For a perfect experience of the sunset, we invite you for a welcome drink on the front terrace, from where you see the vineyard. A lot of stunning river beaches, river activities, hiking routes, BTT routes starting from Coja, and lots of winding roads in the mountains around us, if you prefer motorised transportation. The Portuguese are very friendly people, always ready to help. The food is based on honest, fresh and seasonal ingredients. Coja is a very nice 'aldeia', the many nice terraces are the perfect meeting place to have breakfast in the morning, a coffee with a pastel nata during the day and drinks, like frizzante white wine or even Belgian beers in the afternoon and evening. I also has a very nice petiscos place (Portuguese word for tapas), as well as an excellent, stylish restaurant at walking distance from the Praça. It also has a huge parking place and surrounding g green area, ideal for a picnic, next to the water. In summer the main attraction is of course the praia fluvial (river. beach) to. enjoy the soft river water.

I have spent my life working internationally and still enjoy very much meeting new people, different backgrounds, and sharing my beautiful house, garden and pool with them. I have lived here for 10 years and know a lot of nice nature spots for you to discover, beautiful buildings to visit and discover some of the rich history of this amazing country. My main hobbies are cooking, walking, fitness, yoga, playing bridge in the local club and music, all sorts, from jazz and classical to pop and I have discovered a lot of Portuguese/Brazilian music in recent years. I make my own wine, red since 2016, white for the first time 2019. I'll make sure you get the opportunity to taste it... It would be my pleasure to meet you.

Cabeca do Rapado is on the top of a hill, with amazing views and wonderful sunsets. It is a rural area, part of the Serra do Açor. Strangely enough, the hill is inhabited by an international community of a few Portuguese, English, Dutch, Italians, Singaporeans, Americans, Israelites, and Belgians. The Mata de Margaraça (forest) is close, as well as Fraga da Pena, a waterfall and natural pool for swimming, nice BBQ area. Splendid walk in the woods. The surrounding river beaches (20 to 30 km max) of Secarias, Benfieta, Pomares, Avo, each bring another way of enjoying the river. This is an area that has a lot to offer to people who want to enjoy nature in different ways, be it selling, cycling, motorbike, car... The Portuguese people are very fond of their country and treat it very well, the cleanliness of nature, wherever you go, is surprising.
