Welcome to the famous Pico island and of course to Casa da Prainha! Thank you for choosing our space! I´m certain you will love staying here! I might not always be in Pico to welcome you. However, your check-in will be in charge by our co-host, who will handle the keys to you, give you the welcome, giving all the useful information about the places to visit, what to do in the island and one list with my personal suggestions. "Casa da Prainha" is an accommodation located in the Parish of São Caetano, Pico Island, Azores, approximately 20 minutes from Vila da Madalena (towards Madalena-Lajes). It is a 2-storey house, built with basalt stone in the early 20th century and recovered after the 1998 earthquake. It has the capacity to accommodate 11 people (6 on the top floor and 5 on the ground floor). The upper floor is consist of: a single room and 2 double rooms (one with a sofa bed), equipped kitchen with dining area, reading area and bathroom shared by the gests staying on this floor. The ground floor comprises 2 double bedrooms (one with an extra single bed) and a bathroom for the guests staying on this floor. The guests on the ground floor have access to the kitchen from the outside of the house. Outside there is a Zen garden-space with sun loungers, surrounded by a social and a dining area (and a small barbecue). The kitchen, reading area and outdoor spaces are freely accessible to guests of both floors.

Near the house you can find a bakery, cafes, playground, children's playground, bathing area with natural pool and volleyball court, natural hiking trails (Canada de São Caetano, Canada da Ribeira, Caminho da Costa trails), well tide, picnic spots (Largo de Merendas das Fontes and by the sea), Casa do Povo and Parish Church.
