B&B Candelária nestles in the small village of Monte Seco, in the centre of the Algarve. The renovated traditional house has peaceful green surroundings and is a 20-minute drive from the famous Falésia Beach. The heated bedrooms are individually decorated and feature private entrances. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with a hairdryer, wardrobe. Free WiFi is available in the B&B’s public areas. Each morning, guests can enjoy their breakfast in the roof terrace, featuring a panoramic view over the valley. The Candelária has a large living room and open communal kitchen area that includes a microwave, refrigerator, oven and toaster. Loulé is a 15-minute drive from the Candelária and features many local restaurants. The front of the house has a garden with a big terrace where guests can relax and enjoy a book from the B&B’s library. It also has some fruit trees and a small playground for children to play freely and safely. Bicycle and car rentals are available with the B&B’s front desk. The property is 18 km from the cliff-surrounded Falésia beach, and a 15-minute drive from Loulé landmarks such as the local market, the flea market and the São Francisco Church. The B&B is a 30-minute drive from Albufeira’s beaches and a 20-minute drive from Vilamoura, which features golf courses, a casino, a marina and a tennis club. The B&B Candelária is a 30-minute drive from the Faro International Airport.

B&B Candelária is a beautiful and romantic place. This renovated traditional Portuguese house has on the ground floor 5 fine cozy guest rooms all with beautiful private bathroom. Candelária has upstairs a spacious fully fitted communal kitchen (you can prepare here your own meals), in this kitchen is a fridge filled with soft drinks, beer and wine, you can also store your own drinks. There's also a TV and games. For winter there is a wood burning stove. The kitchen has patio doors to the roof terrace with beautiful views over the valley, where you can relax in the hammock or a sun lounger. There is an extensive breakfast served on a mixture of floral tableware. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to...whenever you feel like! To the front of the house is a garden with a big terrace with sun loungers, fruit trees that provide shade and an outdoor shower which can provide for a nice refreshment.
B&B Candelária located on a hill in the village of Monte Seco where it seems as if time has stood still. The café is the center of the village where the Portuguese life takes place. Across the street is in the weekend played pétanque, the hunters come together and once a month there is a dance evening in the clubhouse. If you like to walk, do bring your walking shoes; because from the house start several hiking trails that take you deeper into nature. Places where no one comes and it is so quiet that you can hear the buzzing flies and hear the wind rustling through the trees. Alte is just 14 km away. It is a typical, village of whitewashed houses with lattice work, handcrafted chimneys and narrow, cobbled streets. Loulé is the nearest city. Each Saturday is the gypsy market and the traditional market in the center where farmers sell their own fruit and vegetables, visit the old town with its trendy shops, art galleries, museums, nice restaurants and cafes. The nearest beach is Praia da Falésia, one of the most beautiful and iconic beaches of the Algarve.
