We invite families with children, or groups of friends, or all those who appreciate the coast, to our Captain's Cottage. This is NOT an apartment but a HOUSE with a garden (house size: 110 m2 =1184 sq.ft; garden size: 450 m2=4844 sq.ft), minutes by bike to the beaches of Jelitkowo or Sopot. The Captain's Cottage is located in a nature park from where it's very close to all the interesting and beautiful places of the Tri-City. We want you to be able to relax with your family in a charming and comfortable sailors' house, on the border of Sopot. Spend a peaceful but eventful holiday here. The Captain's Cottage, saturated with sailing atmosphere, is located in a district of single-family homes, situated in a park with a pond, a stream, a playground for children, a small amphitheater, an outdoor gym and a dog run. The cottage offers a large and spacious living room, three bedrooms, a garden with a table and chairs for outdoor meals, and free parking. We have a fold-out cot for your baby, dishwasher, bowls for pets, and a large rug for children to play on or for adults to do their yoga practice. The Captain's Cottage se is very close to beaches, parks and other attractions of the Tri-City!
My name is Renata and I come from a family of sailors. Like many of you, I love to travel. My co-hosts,` Aleksandra and Adam, and I are proud to create a family-friendly environment for our guests to relax in and explore our beautiful coastline with the cities of Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia. My co-hosts and I like to share with you the unique maritime atmosphere of the place, its history (if you are interested of course), and the history of the surrounding areas as well as the comfort and the amazing location of the Captain's Cottage.
The Captain's Cottage is an authentic cottage of world class sailors. It has lots of character but it is also comfortable. If this detail of the unique character interests you, you will have a chance to discover more about it. It is situated in a district of single-family homes in a park with a pond, a stream, an old mill, a small outdoor gym, a small amphitheater and a playground for children. Nearby there are community gardens, a bicycle path, which takes you to the beach in a few minutes. Small and large shops, as well as a milk bar and three restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. You can also order takeaway food. To the nearest beautiful beach Jelitkowo: a few minutes by car or bike. From there, close to all the beaches of the Tri-City. The "Monciak" promenade in Sopot is about 10 minutes away by car. The city train (a ten-minute walk) will take you to all the interesting places of the Tri-City, e.g. the center of Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia. A ten-minute walk separates the Captain's House from the church or the green market (open on Saturdays and Wednesday mornings).There are also other green areas in the close vicinity: the vast Reagan Park is a few minutes away by car, as is the Oliwa Park with the famous Oliwa Cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants in the Tri-City as well as many museums (e.g. Solidarity, the World War II, Amber, Emigration), galleries, theaters and shopping malls - all within 5-25 minutes by car. Finally, the famous Oliwa Zoo can be reached by bus, car or bicycle.
