Papakura as a district is growing faster than the greater Auckland area, but it has been fortunate to retain its friendly character and much of the classic Kiwi “town” feel as the greater Auckland area intensifies. Lifestyles in the district are as diverse as the people who live here. There are beautiful parks to roam, a diverse set of shops and restaurants in the township, and a Westfield mall to get a cup of coffee and do a bit of shopping. The locals are very friendly, it's located just far enough from the main central Auckland where it possesses a small town aura about it. But the property is located very close to the motorway so if you did want to travel into Auckland central, it's a very easy drive.
