Featuring free WiFi, Park View 'Home Away From Home' is a fully self contained, spacious (65 sq meters) and modern downstairs flat in Feilding with complimentary self service continental breakfast. A garage with free private parking is available on site. We now have installed an outside security camera for the safety of guests who wish to park outside. There is a bus service between Feilding, the airport & Palmerston North. The private property is in a quiet setting, yet just 1.9 km from the CBD and 15-minutes to Palmerston North. Guests are completely isolated from hosts ensuring their privacy, however, always available if needed. There is a 50 inch flat screen TV and stereo with chromecast (Netflix, Youtube, ect)/CD player in the living area. A second TV is in the main bedroom.There is a selection of reading materials & DVD's available. Air-conditioning and heating are included. Park View ‘Home Away From Home’ features wardrobes, a dressing table and ironing facilities. Extra pillows and blankets are available. The bathroom includes a shower, heated towel rail, extractor fan, hair dryer and all toiletries. It is necessary to step up into the shower. Although there is a grab rail & step stool provided this may be an issue for some elderly and those with mobility problems. There is a fully equipped & stocked kitchen as well as a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Relax with a drink on the upstairs patios, overlooking the views of Feilding. Flat is serviced daily. A number of activities are offered in the area including golfing.

Our accommodation is a fully self contained, spacious (65 sqmt), & comfortable downstairs flat. Entry is either by the entrance door, no steps, or guests may like to drive straight into the guest garage. Sleeps 4/5 with a queen bedroom, king single and single beds in the lounge/living area plus foldaway bed if needed. All beds have electric blankets with the queen bedroom having a TV, reading lamps, dressing table and side drawers. The kitchen is complete with full cooking facilities. Bench top oven, stove top, fry pans, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer. Fully stocked with a selection of breakfast foods including a selection of cereals, porridge, breads, tinned fruits and spreads. The breakfast is complimentary and self serve. The lounge has 50 inch TV, DVD with a selection of DVD's, stereo/CD player, chrome cast. Free WIFI. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, extractor fan, hair dryer and all toiletries. Unfortunately it is necessary to step up into the shower. Although we provide a small step stool and there is a grab rail this does prove hard for the elderly and those with mobility issues. There is a guest laundry with dryer, ironing board & iron. Although my partner and I live upstairs the flat is completely private to guests but we are always available if needed. Serviced daily. We are located in a quiet & pretty, tree lined, no exit street just 1.9 kms from the CBD 15 minutes to Palmerston North. 2 hours to Wellington. We go out of our way to ensure our guests have a most enjoyable stay & make them feel SPECIAL. Park View 'Home Away From Home' really lives up to its name.
I am a bright & bubbly, friendly person who enjoys hosting both adults, & children ages 12 & over, to our spacious (65sqmt) warm & comfortable downstairs flat. My partner & I go out of our way to make you feel special ensuring you are happy and enjoying your stay with us. We are always there to answer any questions. We would love to host you & your children. We moved from Hawkes Bay in 2005 where we owned a 25 room motel. We completely refurbished our home & in 2006 set up the downstairs area as a fully self contained flat. As well as kiwis we host many tourists & both often use our property as a base while travelling NZ. As a result many return year after year. Although we live on site (upstairs) the downstairs accommodation is quiet & completely private to guests and Isolated from hosts. However, we are always available to guests. We look forward to welcoming you to your own 'Home Away From Home' so come stay with us. You won't be disappointed & we will ensure we make you feel special during your stay with us. Feilding is a rural town with a population of 17,000 people. Feilding was named the Most Attractive Town in NZ 17 times. It is popular with families and retired couples moving from the big cities to enjoy a more relaxed easy going lifestyle. It is very pretty with tree lined streets & free parking. It has all the facilities one needs & there is not necessity to travel the 15 minutes to Palmerston North.. 15-20 minutes walk to town from here. One of the major attractions is the Manfeild Stadium and international motor racing track which holds the NZ Grand Prix. Also many other events including Feild Days in March second in size only to Hamilton. World equestrian events, the garden festival, craft shows plus much more. There are many restaurants & cafes including Thai, Indian, Chinese, Turkish, the Irish Bar, English food restaurants etc. Focal Point Cinema is licensed & is a wonderful eating place. Plus many pubs. Feilding has many parks, a swimming complex with both indoor & outdoor pools & skate board area. Mini golf is on the same property. The golf course is just 5 minutes from our place. There are many historic buildings, the largest stock yards in the Southern Hemisphere, the Coach House Museum, & some lovely boutique shops.
