Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guest house. The brightly decorated studio apartments tell you the ancient history of the building. The rooms come with views of the Atlantic Ocean from French balconies. Kristiansund town center is 6.2 mi away. The Atlantic Ocean Road is 16 mi away. Breakfast service daily from June 20th to August 20th. A continental buffet breakfast is included in the price for these dates. Our restaurant is also open for a-la-carte service from 3:00pm-9:00pm Tuesdays-Sundays between June 20th to August 20th (closed on Mondays). Reservations are recommended and we suggest booking a table no later than 7:00pm. If you want to explore the island of The Atlantic Road, brochures are in the room where to go and explore. Contact the guest house if you want some tips in advance. - WW2 history - Museums - Church - Ocean view spots - Storm watching places The guest house offers complimentary Wi-Fi. The nearby ocean offers excellent nature experiences, fishing opportunities and other sea activities. The on-site Kroa Bar serves beverages when our staff is on-site.
