Our vision is for guests to feel at home when they are traveling! We have been renting out Trygheim Vacation Home since June 2022 and established it as a company in January 2023. Maria Therese Dyrhaug and Jørn Heggelund are responsible for the daily operations. We have a deep connection to the beautiful and rugged nature of Hustadvika and have had many wonderful vacation experiences in the stunning coastal mountains. We allow guests to self-check-in with a personal code. If there is ever a need, we are available for our guests and go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay. Welcome to our home!

Trygheim Vacation Home (Trygheim Feriehus) is a modern and pristine retreat, offering an exceptional stay for guests. This newly constructed property was completed in 2018 and made available for rental starting in the summer of 2022. With its contemporary design and attention to detail, Trygheim Vacation Home ensures a high standard of comfort and convenience. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen that caters to all your culinary needs. The dining table with 6 seats can easily be extended with two additional leaf plates. In the kitchen, a De'Longhi coffee machine awaits you, ready to brew fresh coffee from freshly ground beans, or you can choose the timeless Bialetti for an authentic coffee flavor. Tea and coffee are, of course, included in your stay. The property boasts an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue area, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and grilling. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen that caters to all your culinary needs. The vacation home is equipped with air conditioning, providing a refreshing atmosphere during warm summer days. Additionally, a balanced ventilation system ensures optimal air quality throughout your stay. After a day of exploring the surrounding area, guests can retreat to the comfort of the vacation home's cozy and comfortable beds. The utmost care has been taken to ensure a restful night's sleep, allowing you to wake up rejuvenated and ready to seize the day. The house is practical and well-furnished, with two bathrooms featuring showers and four bedrooms. Each bedroom can accommodate 2 people in either a double bed, a double bed in a sofa bed, or a bunk bed. As our guest, you will also have exclusive access to our digital guidebook and house manual. Bud is an charming fishing village located at the outermost point of the Romsdal Coast, with the renowned stretch of sea, Hustadvika, and the Atlantic Road as its closest neighbors. HISTORY Until the 15th century, Bud was mainly used for seasonal fishing. In the 16th century, Bud was one of the largest trading posts between Bergen and Trondheim, with over 400 inhabitants. Today, Bud has around 800 residents. When you visit Bud, you should take a trip to Ergan Coastal Fort, a museum built around the German coastal fortification from World War II. You can also visit the Coastal Museum, a two-story cultural-historical exhibition. Bud Church, dating back to 1717, is another historical landmark worth visiting. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES Bud is an excellent starting point for outdoor enthusiasts. On the 2.8 km long coastal path, you can stroll along the sea in Bud. Here, you'll find boathouses, cabins, residential houses, and boating activities throughout the year. From the coastal path, you can hike up to "mountain" Gulberget, which offers a spectacular view of Bud and the sea beyond. A short drive from Bud, you'll find popular tourist attractions like Trollkyrkja (Troll's Church), Farstadsanden, and the Atlantic Road. FISHING Guests at Tryggheim Feriehus have the opportunity to rent a boat at Bud Camping, which is within walking distance of the vacation home. SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS Within walking distance, you'll find Mix Bud Spiseri and Catering, the famous Restaurant Bryggjen in Bud, and the grocery stores Bunnpris and Coop Prix.
