Here you are close to both sea and mountains, with good opportunities for both hunting and fishing. In the immediate vicinity you will also find Seiland National Park, which with its magnificent nature and Europe's 2 northernmost glaciers and cultural landscape is worth a visit. Cabin with electricity and water. Electric heating in addition to wood stove. Kitchen has all the equipment like fridge with freezer, cooker, oven, microwave oven and dish washer. There is also a private "barbecue cabin" attached to the cabin where you have the opportunity for a bonfire and recreation with a lovely view of Sørøysundet. The cabin is located on island Seiland just outside Hammerfest. There is a (car)ferry out to the island from Strømsnes ferry dock in Akkarfjord to Kjerringholmen on Seiland. The crossing takes 15 minutes. From Hammerfest airport to Strømsnes ferry dock it takes about 19 min by car (12.5km). From Kjerringholmen ferry dock on Seiland it takes about 15 minutes with a car to the cabin at Nordmannsneset. There is also the possibility of a bus and for longer stays we can assist with transportation. Just get in touch! At Seiland there is Seiland Explore in Hønseby, about 3.2 km from the cabin. Here there is a grocery store as well as the possibility to rent a boat for sea fishing.
