Relax with the whole family at this lovely place to stay. It is an entire top level of a semi-detached house (tomannsbolig) with a private garden and an outstanding view. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, AC, heated floor and an open living and kitchen area. It is 5 min walking distance to the forest and the train station and takes 25 min by train to go to Oslo city center. One can enjoy the terrasse and the trampoline. Close to grocery stores (Joker), IKEA, Bohus, Sandvika shopping center and other small shops.
We are a four members family and we moved to Norway 10 years ago. I am a researcher and my wife is an architect. We have two kids one boy and one girl. We love traveling and discovering new places. Billingstad is a family friendly area and is about 22 minutes by train or car to Oslo.
The neighborhood is very attractive to all kinds of activities like shopping, site-seeing, swimming, hiking, and much more. The forest is just 5 minutes walking distance and the beaches (fjord) are just 5 to 10 minutes driving distance. It is also a family friendly area with several play ground areas. Sandvika Storesenter is one of biggest malls in Europe and is located in Sandvika which is 8 minutes driving distance. Many restaurants and cafes are nearby. Asker senter is also nice to visit and is 13 minutes driving distance. Many other activities can also be offered and are nearby.
