Location, location, location…you can see the glacier from your deck and hike directly from the property. We also found that the Loen sky lift and other glacier access points were a reasonable drive. The place was cozy with a nice bathroom and minimal kitchen facilities. The property manager was friendly (she was only there briefly each day because we were at the end of the season.) There’s a café and a restaurant adjacent which have decent meals if you don’t want to bother with the small kitchen.
