Located right by the hiking trails, it offers plenty of sunshine, a central location, and a spacious courtyard with ample space between buildings. The interior is modern and comfortable, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. Strandafjellet is the perfect base for exploring Sunnmøre's top destinations: Norangsdalen and Hjørundfjorden (1 hour), Ålesund (1 hour), Stryn (1 hour), Trollstigen (1.5 hours), and Geiranger (2 hours).

Strandafjellet is a year-round destination offering stunning nature, diverse activities, mountain hikes, and close proximity to both local centers and major tourist attractions like Geiranger and Norangsdalen. Strandafjellet Ski Center has been repeatedly voted Norway's powder paradise and is one of the best ski resorts in the country. It features six lifts, including a gondola that takes you to the top of Roalden, where you’ll find the Fjord Panorama restaurant. The area also offers up to 25 km of cross-country skiing trails, with the illuminated trail passing right by Roalden Skigard.
