On the beautiful Vleugeldijk in the Bommelerwaard you will find our cozy B&B. Enjoy the highlights of the area such as Slot Loevestein, the lovely towns of Woudrichem, Zaltbommel and Heusden, and take a swim in the ‘afgedamde Maas’! We have bicycles available for our guests during their stay, so you can visit all the sights at your own pace. Tip from us: follow one of the beautiful cycling routes over the dikes that take you along the most beautiful places! You can also store your own (motor) bike safely (and dry) on our property. After a day of enjoying the area, you can relax in the B&B and the garden. In the garden you will find several sitting areas, a refrigerator is available in the shed. Our chicken Ronnie and cat Manny provide extra dutch ‘gezelligheid’ in the garden. The B&B has a separate entrance, so there’s a lot of privacy. Relax in your own room with a double bed upstairs and wake up with a fresh breakfast that we will bring to you in the B&B. The key is available at any time of the day, allowing you to arrive at your own time. We would love to welcome you in our B&B and make you feel ‘Thuis bij Elles’!

Welkom bij Thuis Bij Elles! My name is Elles Erhardt and together with my husband, Joost and two children Martijn & Rosanne we live in Zuilichem, the Bommelerwaard. We love the nature in the area and how open the environment is. We enjoy long summer evenings in the garden with a drink by the fireplace. Freedom and privacy are very important to us, so we want to offer you enough space to make your own plans, but if you like to eat with us, we can arrange this too! The nice towns Zaltbommel, Woudrichem and Heusden are recommended to visit, here you will find a piece of real old Dutch ‘gezelligheid’. The towns are all within cycling distance, so you can make a route using the numerous cycling nodes in the area. It is also nice to visit the various castles in the area: Loevestein Castle is the best known of these, but Ammersoyen Castle, Waardenburg and Nederhemert are also definitely worth a visit! At 500 meters you will find petit restaurant De Kraaij where you can take a bite and a refreshment. In the neighboring village of Aalst you will find a number of other restaurants such as Tres Tapas and in fifteen minutes cycling distance you will find brasserie De Buurman in Poederoijen. In Zaltbommel you will find even more restaurants and you can also enjoy a day of shopping here. The car will take you to the city centre of ‘s Hertogenbosch in 25 minutes, a very characteristic Dutch city with plenty of shops, terraces, museums and here you can find delicious pastries famous in the Netherlands; Bossche Bollen. Definitely worth a visit!
