Sunny Medemblik is our lovely holiday home which we have built with great pleasure in 2018. About the accommodation: Sunny Medemblik has a veranda, a terrace and a nice garden by a pond. Our children love to catch fish here. Our new chalet has a spacious living room with a sofa where the children like to "chill out". The hang chair with sheepskin is certainly also a favorite. We also have a large dining table where we like to eat and drink with family and friends. Our chalet has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. One of these bedrooms has a double bed and private shower. The second bedroom is larger with a double bed and a bunk bed. The house has a cozy kitchen, spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and separate toilet. Via a staircase you reach the loft where 2 guests can sleep.

About the host: We like it when our guests feel welcome in our holiday home. With this intention, we built and furnished our chalet in 2018. It is a place where we as a family like to go for a wonderful holiday. In the neighborhood of 'Sunny Medemblik' it is great to stay with our four children (5,6,9 and 11 years old). A walk along the IJsselmeer, play and swim on the fine sandy beach of the Vooroever, browse the trunk market, grab a terrace in the cozy center of Medemblik, decorate cookies in the Bakery Museum, a ride with the famous steam tram to Enkhuizen and Hoorn, miniature golf, sailing with a sailboat, kiteboarding, surfing. All the ingredients for a nice holiday with the whole family. We love long summer evenings, so we have built a veranda on our chalet. A sheepskin, candles, bottle of wine, let the summer come! We also find it very nice to invite family and friends, therefore our chalet is equipped for 8 people.

About the environment: Tulip fields, mills, farms, ditches, canals and vast meadows make West Friesland a beautiful and unique area that is loved by our family. Medemblik is not only known as a modern sailing center, but is also in possession of a cozy city center and a harbor. A visit to historic Enkhuizen with the Zuiderzee Museum or Sprookjeswonderland every time our children find a party. Hoorn is also worth a visit. The museum of the Twentieth Century there can enjoy the whole family. We like to go to the beach pavilion de Zoete Zee, where we enjoy on the terrace while the children play on the beach.
