B&B and holliday apartment in Stavoren. Here you can stay at your own comfortable 2 room apartment suitable 2-4 people. The apartments are self contained and are located on the first floor overlooking the beautiful lake. From your own livingroom, diner table and or small balcony you will be able to enjoy the ships sailing by and at night watch a beautiful sunset. The styllish apartments are located in a quite area in the old centre of Stavoren.The nearest sandybeach is at a 4 min. walking distance. The apartments are totaly private, with their own rise, private bathroom (shower, loo and washbasin) and a small kitchen. This means you have full privacy. The living room has a dinertable, a lounge place, a double bed and a small balcony overlooking the lake. There is also a small seperate room with two single beds with a view over the canal. 24 hour access Wifi 70 tv channels; 6 x German and 4 x English Public parking spaces in front of the apartment
We, Wybren and Loekie would very much like to welcome you in our renovated dikehouse "Sleeping by the IJssellake", in Stavoren. Daily we make walks on the beach, enjoy the fresh air and the sheep on the dike. With a lot of dedication and passion we have renovated our old dikehouse from 1902 and turned this into a beautiful stylish house, ecorparting 2 private apartments with the most mignificant view over the lake. We love sharing our home with our guests and we want everyone to feel very welcome here. In our leisure time we either go windsurfing or sailing...in case of no wind? You can find us relaxing on the dike with a good book, some cheese and a delicious glass of wine staring now and again at the beautiful view ahead.
Apartement "Sleeping at the IJssellake" is ideal if you love hiking or cycling, your bikes can be safely stored away. There are beautiful walks in the nearby forest of "Gaasterland" or along the dike with its beautiful beaches. If you love watersport you are definately at the right address, sailing, windsurfing, kiting, fishing and swimming are all right at your doorstep. Public transport: Train (Arriva), going from Stavoren to Sneek with Leeuwarden as it's final destination. (Train station is at a 10 min. walking distance). Ferry: in the high season 3 x per day leaving for Enkhuizen (80 min.) bycles are allowed on board. (10 min. walking distance from the apartement). Worth a trip!!! You can enjoy good meals in our local restaurants: we recommend the Koebrug for a high standard evening meal, or Cafe Max for a delicious pub meal, for fish de Visserman and the Potvis and het Hearehus for Pizza. (all at a walking distance). De Old Harbour (10 min.) 1 taxi rank (in Warns) 1 large supermarket "Coop" (open 7 days a week) (8 min.) 2 x bicycle rental (2-6 min) 1 x hairdresser We hope to welcome you in Stavoren!
